What is a god way for my parents to stop snoring?

They just recently got back together and they are 60 years old. They both snore so bad that they keep each other awake at night. They've had to resort to sleeping in separate rooms, it's so bad. What can they try to maybe not snore, or not snore so intensely? They snore in all positions so rolling each other over does not work. Does anyone know if those pillows that are supposed to stop snoring actually work? Does anyone know what they can try? What is a god way for my parents to stop snoring?
They need to lose some weight and get on a good nutritional program that will make them healthy. Snoring is one sign of bad health. Some people have sleep apneas that can be life threatening and others have loose tissue that ';flaps in the wind'; and rattles when they relax while sleeping.

What most people find is that when they lose weight and improve their diet so they are getting good nutrients in their bodies, the snoring goes away or is greatly reduced.

good luck to youWhat is a god way for my parents to stop snoring?

Yes, this pillow is your best bet: http://www.tractionneckpillow.com

A couple other things to do are use those nasal strips like others suggested. This time of year the air is more dry, using a humidifier can help keep the nasal passages open.

This pillow is most important because it will keep the neck spine in it's best position which also keeps the nasal passage-ways and sinuses open.

If the snoring still persists then they may want to see a doctor to see if there something else causing the problem. Since they both snore, chances are, the blockage of the nasal airways is the problem.

Good Luck.
they must lose weight(if they are fat,I don't know),in the evening they must eat a light meal and don't drink alcoholics, they must not smoke, perhaps in this way they stop snoring,if they snore again they must consult the otorhinolaryngologist.excuse me my english but I'm not american,I 'm writing from Italy.claudia.
The best tip I ever got was to prop pillows behind so that you can't roll over on your back You should also tell them to each get humidifiers. If they are overweight, losing just 10 pounds can help snoring But do what you can to help them, because new research has linked snoring with a 67% increased risk of snoring.
Well The God way would be to pray for it to end.... but I would recommend that they get sleep studies done to be checked for Sleep Apnea. Sleep Apnea is a period of time during which breathing stops or is markedly reduced. In simplified terms, an apnea occurs when a person stops breathing for 10 seconds or more. Snoring loudly is a common trait for sufferers of sleep apnea. Good luck with it!!
they need a sleep study. they may have sleep apnea, which is treatable by cpap. a common symptom is snoring very loudly.
the best way to stop snoring is to change your position lose 10% of your weight or to ask there doctor what kind of product they could use.
They can sleep in seperate rooms like most 60 year old do so not to disturb each others sleep.
