To teens: How do you best handle parents with a different political view?

If your parents are Democrat, but your gung ho for McCain, or if your liberal, and your parents are strictly conservative, how do you handle this. Do you view it as a challenge or don't care?To teens: How do you best handle parents with a different political view?
Important thing is stick to your beliefs keep in open mind to their oppinions thats how you can be stronger in your beliefs or you can grow new views. But dont be bullied. And question everyone and everything. Just cuz your professor says this to be true, always be skeptical. To teens: How do you best handle parents with a different political view?
Personally don't care and you shouldn't either. So many people can be hypocrites. Ive met so many people that voted for bush in the past two elections that said they were republic all the way, then state that they wish bush would have never been elected to office. Yes there are people out there who will stick with their party nominee even after their term or terms. Just stick to what you believe in and don't vote for a candidate just because they are rep. or dem. Listen what they have to say, do you belive one over the other, and make choices on your own and dont be pressured to vote a certain way because you think people will hate you, or think your incompetant. If your parents are really strict and would disown (sp) because you said you wouldn't vote for a certain party, just tell them you agree with them, and when you go to the polls no one will no other wise.
I don't care much at all. I'm as conservative as they come, yet my mother is all about socialism. Really, she's a huge fan of the European Union.

We bicker sometimes, but honestly it's not that tough. She lets me decide on what I think it best for me, so we have a good relationship like that.
It certainly makes for interesting dinner time debate.
