How can I study without my parents help?

I am a senior in high school. I will be going to college next year, but I am worried. I am worried about this because even though I have done a decent job in school, I always need my parents help with my school work, and have always had their help with homework and in studying for tests. How can I become independent and succeed by studying on my own, because I won't have my parents to help me next year when I am in college?How can I study without my parents help?
Wean yourself away now while you still in high school. Gradually let them help you less and less./How can I study without my parents help?
There's no need to worry about becoming ';independent.'; Many colleges offer tutoring services, students often organize study groups, and when you make friends in your classes, quite often they are more than glad to study together and help practice for tests and the like. Certain activities, like reading and evaluating textbook material, can be done better by yourself, but those types of activities are probably not the ones you are worried about. Comparing notes with other students, practicing material to be memorized, and working on projects and reports are all activities which many students do as groups, and you will find more than enough willing ';partners.';
