What books would you recommend for expecting parents?

I'm expecting a child here with my fiance, and am wondering what books the online community would recommend for us? We would like to learn what to expect from the pregnancy, our rights as parents, my rights as the father, and also some raising ideas after the baby is born. I do not want a book on just how to raise the child, I would like the books to focus mainly before the birth. Thanks. What books would you recommend for expecting parents?
Pregnancy varies so much from woman to woman. There are a few mens books out there on pregnancy, but bottom line is be genuine in your support and interest.

I highly recommend renting Happiest Baby On The Block DVD from your Hospital Maternity Resource Center or local Library. It's quicker than reading the book, and gives great tips on soothing in those first few weeks at home. And you won't need it much afterward, that's why I suggest renting.

Also buy Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Child by Weissbluth. It helped me understand the 2 hour wake period and most of our naps and bedtime are without a whimper, I read this at 5 months and our daughter is now 10 months. It's a reference for years to come. Sleep is so important to our children, it shapes their sleep as adults. Our society is pushing us to go-go-go when we really should be focusing on scheduled nap times as much as possible. It may be inconvenient at times., but it doesn't last forever.

As one phase goes, another one comes. Solid feeding your next process to learn. 2 great books I have rented from the library and eventually bought are The Baby Food Bible by Behan. And Mommy Made and Daddy too by Kimmel also wholesomebabyfood.com is a great resource. Don't be in a rush to start, don't force it, offer variety. Most doctors have little knowledge in infant nutrition. Find comfort in knowing that breastmilk and formula are the main source of nutrition until 1 year.

Good luck! What books would you recommend for expecting parents?
what to expect when you're expecting is a great book!! it refrences to most of the things you are talking about and also reccomends other parenting books.
What to Expect When You're Expecting or Pregnancy for Dummies.

Both are great books with awesome guidelines and pregnancy info.
