I remember when my son was about your sons age. Getting him to read was like pulling out my hair. Very frustrating. I then asked his teacher the same question you are asking. She replied, get him to read something he is interested in. She said, she didn't care if it was a cook book or the comics. At least he would be reading. So basically, your answer is, anything %26amp; everything. It didn't matter to the teacher what he was reading, as long as he was reading. It worked with my son. He also had trouble focusing, however, we found it was only with the work the teacher gave. If I had him read something he was interested in, boy, what a difference.
