Does anyone have good advice for convincing parents to get a hamster?

I need advice, because my parent wont get me a hamster.Does anyone have good advice for convincing parents to get a hamster?
my brothers got a hamster once, kept it in one of those plastic cages with all those tubes it could climb through. It was really neat. We read that hamsters could be taught tricks, which is true by the way. It's name was Sandy and we taught it to come to the call of her name. Well, she ended up chewing her way out of the plastic cage. She'd go down the dresser, across the hall, under my bedroom door, up my bed skirt, and settle herself on my pillow while I was sleeping. Now I've had dogs and cats and fish and snakes, but this hamster was the most loving pet I ever had. The only pet that would sleep with me in my bed. In the morning she'd go back down my bed, across the hall, up the dresser and into her cage. strange but true. honest.

My mother ended up getting a fish tank and a mesh locking lid to keep her inside her house. But those hamster balls gave her freedom. Sandy would go every where in that thing, and it protected her from the dog. I don't know if that would convince your parents to get you one. But it's a hamster in a cage. As long as you clean it out everyother day or so, why would they have a problem?Does anyone have good advice for convincing parents to get a hamster?
When you start school, ask your parents if they could buy you a hamster if you get a good grade in a certain subject (choose one that you are good at). Make them promise. It worked for me on my dad and he is really strict.
dont let it get sucked up by the vacuum...theyre small and dont poop everywhere, low maintnes and tell them ull clean their cage every week...and play with it every day...lol that worked for me when i was little
tell them you want to be responsible and nurturing for something. A hamster is the way to go , because it's care will not effect the rest of the family. suggest save up money and buy all the things like a cage and food yourself.

good luck
I wanted a guinea pig for a long time.

My mom made me promise that I would keep on playing piano(i dont exactly like it) and that I would take care of her.

And then she said yes!
It's small, wont pee and poop everywhere, and easy to take care of.
Okay ill tell you this hamsters are kind of easy to take care of exept you have to refill there food bowl water every day. They bite your hands. You have to clean there cage once everyweek. you'll have to show alot of responsibility to get one. Ive had to it was fun.
my mom and my little brother are both really allergic to pet fur, so it took a lot to convince my mom to let me get a hamster. Try finding something that your parents think you can't do, convince yourself that you can do it, then go to them and ask if you complete the goal if you can have a hamster. I made a deal that if I kept my room clean from the first day of school until Christmas break, then I can get a hamster.

GOOD LUCK!!!!!
i personally think it depends on how old/responsible you are.... prove to them that you, and only you, will be the one taking care of it. BTW, do you have a job or some way of earning the money to take care of your hamster?

just some things to keep in mind as you're begging you parental unit for a hammie!!! they have enough to pay for on top of a hamster and all its accessories!
just explain how easy job it is and they wont have to do anything for it u will take care of the job and that ther not a big deal to look after ther simple and easy!!

oh and if they still say NO then say it will make you respnseable enougth and that ther not being fair
research alot. put together a packet, and find something you are bad at, say keeping your room clean, then promise to keep it clean for a month straight then you can get one :] worked for me
Its small cute very easy to take care of lives for 3 years and their nice
Tell them it is a good idea because it is smaller than a dog or something like that and it will be in a cage so your parents won't even have to see it if you keep it in your room. Also make sure that you offer to pay for everything and take care of it...this is your way of showing them that you are responsible. Then make those really cute puppy dog eyes!!

lol

Hope I helped!!
say that it doesnt need walks they are only 拢5 and its so small it will be easy to clean out and once you have the cage and a few toys that is all you need to look after it apart from food. Try comparing it to another pet like a dog that needs alot of work.
