What sort of bad things do parents worry about their children doing?

I'm writing a novel about a troubled teen and I'm trying to come up with more things for him to do.





He has already participated in underage drinking, gotten in a lot of fights, driven recklessly, spray painted graffiti on a bridge, shoplifted some music, and exposed himself in public.





Next he's going to key someone's car and spraypaint it.





What other bad things would he do that would make his parents worry?What sort of bad things do parents worry about their children doing?

Deceitfulness, lying, or stealing

steals items without confronting a victim (e.g. shoplifting, but without breaking and entering)











Serious violations of rules





often stays out at night despite parental objections





runs away from home





often truant from school











Children with conduct disorder may also experience:





Higher rates of depression, suicidal thoughts, suicide attempts, and suicide


Academic difficulties


Poor relationships with peers or adults


Sexually transmitted diseases


Difficulty staying in adoptive, foster, or group homes

Damn he sounds like he has a list already. Actually that sounds kinda familiar...hm anyway...you said shoplifted music, you could have him jack from his parents, I know that would upset me for sure. LOL i'll just list the **** i used to do as a kid:





Drug deal


Addicted to drugs


addicted to drinking


addicted to huffing gas (kinda on the same line as drugs)


actually stealing the car


going to juvi


getting in fights in juvi


get a fake id and barhop


get tattoos/piercings


fight with teachers


cheat in school


go to detention


get suspended


have sex in public





i could go on forever buddy :)
ill give you some ideas just dont add to reefer madness. aka fueling marijuana prohibition.





have him deal drugs at school. and then parents find his wad of money.





you can havee him do some good stuff too like he volunteers at a pound or sumtin.
Sex and getting a girl pregnant...that's my worst nightmare for my kids!! Although I guess there could be worse things. Going to jail for committing some horrible crime really would be worse. But I'm thinking more along the lines of what's morally wrong.

my beat friend in high school drove drunk and ran over her moms rose bush in the front yard she was very troubled see if he kills some one or break in to a house or knocks a girl up
