How could I prove to my parents that I am responsible enough to get texting?

I have been trying to convince them to let me be able to text on my phone. They are worried because they think I will be up really late texting and I will go over on my bill. But I would pay for the texting and I could get the free texting on Verizon right? Please, I really want to get texting cause right now it is just for emergencies.How could I prove to my parents that I am responsible enough to get texting?
yes you can get unlimited texting from Verizon. Just be the perfect child for like a month do everything that your parents ask and do really good in school then when it has been like a month bring it back up and tell them that you can get unlimited text for only 10 dollars a month and if that dosent work tell them that you will pay the 10 dollars every month for it hope this helps!!!!How could I prove to my parents that I am responsible enough to get texting?
If you want to prove to your parents that your responsible then you just have to make good choices for a while and then bring to their attention that you haven't been in trouble and that your doing good in school and taking care of your chores or whatever it is you have to do at home. Parents really like when kids do stuff without being asked. After a month or so of doing what you need to do and helping out where needed, bring up the texting thing again.
